Life of Reiley’s cookbook publishing division began in 2005—purely by accident. In an attempt to bring her vision for Fork Me, Spoon Me: the sensual cookbook to fruition, Amy Reiley assembled a team of outstanding publishing professionals to help her self-publish the title. Based on the book’s success, Reiley decided to reassemble the team eighteen months later to publish the cookbook of Kiss My Bundt Bakery. Before we knew it, a publishing company was born!
Since then, we’ve published three additional books, including the award-winning Romancing the Stove. And we’ve gone into three reprints on Kiss My Bundt and four reprints on Fork Me, Spoon Me–a book with sales that remain strong nearly ten years after original publication!
Although we continue to grow as a publisher, the focus is shifting. We’re approached every week by authors looking for a specialty publisher to produce their cookbook. But as a boutique cookbook publisher, we’re forced to turn down hundreds of projects that pass through our office. We want to help every single one of those authors bring their work to fruition–just the way we originally did it.
We are proud to introduce Life of Reiley Independent, a new division of our cookbook publishing company. A partnership publishing entity with a difference, our self-publishing imprint is geared specifically toward cookbook authors, whether the vision is a title in print or strictly ebooks. As your publishing partner, we hold your hand the entire way through the process. We help you meet each and every challenge that comes with producing a bestselling, award-winning cookbook. Most importantly, we make sure your book, whether hardcover, paperback or ebook, (or all three) is positioned for sales both nationally and internationally with one of the biggest distributors in the business.
